As a keen composer, photographer and walker, I decided a photographic ‘slideshow’ DVD based around this beautiful Welsh town would be a great way of combining my three areas of interest.

I have lived in Dolgellau since 1988, so know the area reasonably well and this DVD combines photographs of local walks with some of my compositions (performed by myself using various keyboards). Most of these photographs were taken within a few miles of the town centre, making Dolgellau a great base for a walking (or driving) holiday.

Having taken many more photographs since the original version of this DVD was released in 2004 and also having bought better digital cameras soon after the original DVD was released, I decided it would be a good idea to give the whole thing a major ‘facelift’.
